Trainer Testimonials
*My opportunity to express MY gratitude to the priceless people I am honored to know
*By definition....”Character” means:
“The particular combination of things about a person or place, esp. things you cannot see, that make that person or place different from others”
That’s a perfect description of AJ Sulveras, amongst many other exceptional qualities. Character is not an attribute that’s learned. Its something a person is granted. This young man possesses something this World is in major deficit of. We can all learn a great lesson from his actions.
This year Windham High school is awarding its very first “Renaissance award". The award is unanimously awarded this year to AJ for his outstanding valor overall. Its not for perfect grades...it’s not for titles won in athletics. The award is respectfully honored to AJ for his consistent unselfishness and constant attention to helping people.
One of these actions are AJ befriending a boy with Down’s syndrome in his school and going out of his way to help him in any way he can. Every day AJ religiously meets with him after school and helps with school work and his wrestling practice. He's there for him when everyone else is not. There is a multitude of similar actions that AJ is acknowledged for.
*Here is a Testimonial from one of his Teachers:
*AJ is one of the hardest working students I have had the privilege to teach. He is committed to school, genuinely cares about learning and does not solely focus on the grades he receives on assignments. He is polite, motivated participates in class discussions, and challenges himself and his peers to do better. I am lucky to have AJ as a student"
AJ gives him time and energy askes nothing in return. That's true character!!!
I myself have personally worked with hundreds of great kids over the past 30 years and find AJ to be one that stands out. For someone of his age he is determined and organized more than most adults. I'm more than confident that AJ Sulveras will be extremely successful in life with his attitude and work ethic .It makes me so proud to witnesses his determination.
We all need to adopt the mind frame and unselfish-character of this young man
Keep It AJ....your one of a kind!!

Kelly Sayre
Let’s get real. The struggle is certainly real (and we must Deal)!!
If getting older wasn’t tough enough, being a woman makes the struggle more of a full out battle to “just stay” in shape. We need to lay down some respect for these ladies as we all know how hard it gets.
My job gives me the great honor of guiding many amazing women. Don’t get me wrong, I train a lot of hard-working men as well, but a good majority of my days are spent pushing some serious bad ass women. The toughest ones are always the ladies around 40 and up. I even have some that are celebrating their late 60s and 70’s. It’s so inspiring!!
Recently, I had the great privilege to training an incredible woman in her late 40’s. She is an aspiring to be a trainer herself and had lost a very respectable amount of weight on her own. Despite some physical challenges she was battling she achieved some impressive results on her own and wanted to take things to a new level. I attend the gym she works at and she approached me one day at the front desk. Through a few very enjoyable conversations Kelly made the decision to do some individualized training with me.
I was very excited to get us started. It’s so damn fulfilling to acquire a client who wants to put the work in. It was OBVIOUS she was “DETERMINED”. Kelly had a monumental birthday approaching (the Big 50😊and expressed the desire to finally rock a Bikini this year. She was fired up!!!!
Now…Im using that word “DETERMINED” for a reason. Kelly had posted some pics of herself on social media with her husband in a couple’s challenge. Her results were so impressive I felt it was necessary to comment how proud I was and how she was determined. Later that afternoon she reached out to me saying how emotional she was to be called “determined “as growing up she was left to feel as though that description was negative. After all her hard work and dedication, she now sees “determined” as a badge of honor. A better mind and body is earned not given. Kelly has transformed herself!
Im so proud of you Kelly! You have displayed what a woman can achieve regardless of age, gender or physical challenge. You are a Warrior!!!
RESPECT!!!

Dan Lyons
With the incredible work I get to do day by day, brings many types of personalities .I’m fascinated with human phycology and I love experiencing the many different characteristics of people. I’ve been studying people since I was a kid I’m sure it stems from growing up with my Moms mental illness. My appreciation for the Human mind is plentiful in respect. A minds a terrible thing to wasteJ
Many years ago, I was approached by one of my amazing clients to train her husband. It was father’s day and she thought it would be a great idea for him to try some personal training. She bought him just a few sessions to try it out. I was very excited about the opportunity. We set it up and before long we were Rock’n!
As I’ve said, I encounter a multitude of personalities daily. I was not sure how Dan would be but was excited to get started. Dan is a Doctor (and a very good one) so I made sure I was extremely organized and thorough (As always being OCD…LOL). I wanted him to know he was in good hands. Dan showed up day one and was hard to read at first. He was very quiet and I did my best to make him laugh and feel comfortable. I know he was a serious runner (although he would tell you otherwise….he’s really good) and to challenge him I was going to have to be creative. He needed his ass kicked! Day one was great. It was obvious Dan and I were going to achieve some great physical gains. Our journey began!
A couple of years went by and Dan and his wife continued to honor me with their trust. Unfortunately through a few bad choices in management I was left no choice but to re-locate gyms. I did not want to leave as I worked very hard at building up my amazing clientele, Dan and his wife included. I respectfully contacted all my people and explained my situation and they wholeheartedly agreed it was wise I changed arenas. Damn!!... It was so tough leaving! I had to literally start over again and rebuild. Scary!
On my very first week at new location Dan came by and signed up. What an honor it was to have such a respected man follow me. It’s a little bit of distance more but Dan still committed to it. I was very flattered and vowed to not let him down. Every workout we did I pushed Dan as hard as possible and went out of my way to construct the most strategic and innovative workouts I could. Dan had a lingering shoulder issue and I devised plans to work around the problem. Never did it stop us and honestly I felt pretty good knowing we were correcting an issue. The strategies I employed with Dan were utilized on other clients I had with similar shoulder limitations. It was a great experience.
The impressive thing about Dan is his intellect. Although very quiet, he’s always thinking .You can tell when someone is intelligent. He not only is very smart but physically he’s a machine. He comes to his sessions an hour early and runs sometimes 3-4 miles BEFORE our workouts and my workouts are challenging. As impressive as that is Dan is in his mid-50’s. I aspire to be that fit in my 50’s.Now I am and Dan motivates me every time he comes to train.
To sum up this testimonial and I could go on and on about Dan, it’s been an amazing time and a great privilege training Dan and I hope he knows I’ve given my all to him. The honor was all mine!
Thank you “Dan the Man”

YOUNG SUPERSTARS
I have said many times how grateful I am to be honored with a Parents trust in their child. It is very flattering and in my profession. It’s truly awesome because the field I reside in is one of many. There are some great trainers out there. To be selected personally and help magnify a young athletes performance if exciting! We did not have those opportunities as kids ourselves and if a parent gives me the honor you can bet I’m going to insure that child is THE best he or she can be!
This past year I once again were given such a blessing. I acquired a few super athletes of which need absolute acknowledgement. These young superstars are not only gifted athletically but are parallel in respect. They achieve equal merit in regards to their academic responsibilities and downright awesome kids! I must give my utmost respect to Cam Homsey,Ryan Marotta and Shane LaFond!I have personally witnessed their extremely motivated attitude and physical performance and am in Awe!
Cam Homsey is the brother of another incredible Basketball superstar John Homsey.I still train them both. John is Central Catholics pride and Joy! Cam is involved in Football with the Wolverines in Windham NH and only being 13 years old, he is like lightning on the field. He’s a very determined young man and his parents fully support his(as well as all their kids)his passion!
Ryan Marrotta is another amazing Superstar on the Woverines.Since we have been working together he has packed on over 30 pounds of solid muscle and is a force to be reckoned with! He’s a machine! I trained Ryans brother Andrew for years and Andrew was just as great. It’s obvious their parents are the foundation of the great young men they are.
Both Cam and Ryan and best friends and they push each other to be the best.
Shane Lafond is not Human…lol. He is in Windham High School and is involved in several sports. Quite honestly I’m baffled by his speed. The man pushes through every workout I put him through and always strives to push harder. One day I had him race me for a 100 dash. I was the fastest kid in my school and still fast for an old man. The kid left me in the dust and even said he was holding back to prevent injury. I was amazed!!!!
I could go on and on bragging about these great kids. Just wanted to let them know I’m very proud of them. Its an honor to be involved in the development of their athletic growth. It’s inspiring!
Thank you so much to their parents. It’s nearly impossible to express my gratitude!

Joanie Laurer.....A.K.A.."Chyna"
For many years (since 1997) I’ve been hesitant to include the following client for various reasons. One reason being out of respect for Joanie's privacy. Anyone who knows me personally knows I appreciate trust. I'm going to set aside the personal aspects of things and focus primarily on our professional relationship as Joanie not only transformed her body during our time of training but went on to be THE most influential female in Professional wrestling history and will forever be considered so. Sure, there are other “greats” in the arena of female wrestlers but this girl changed the "direction" of the sport. She made her mark and I am proud to of been involved in that and will forever be proud of HER. It was truly inspirational to see history being made. Joanie has mentioned me several times over the years in her book and various magazine, articles, etc so I never asked her to write me a Testimonial in her own words. Hopefully someday we will see.
Until then...Rock on Joanie!
Joanie recently gave a beautiful Testimonial on YouTube.Check out my Warriors Words(recent)section.

Alison and Corey Lewandowski
As I’ve said numerous times, this job of mine is not a job at all. It’s a blessing! To have the great honor
of trust and witness the journey from start to point of clarity (when they see
their greatness) is priceless. This was a crazy (good) year. A tidal wave of amazingness flowed in and I’ve been riding it hard since first of year. I consider every single client an individual unit of awesomeness and could go on and on about each one of them but today I’ll focus on two individuals……….
The Lewandowski’s.
About a year ago, a young and eager girl walked in inquiring about some personal training. As I have said before, I can tell if someone is serious from the first 5 minutes of talking to them. This young lady was the Mother of 4 young children and it was obvious she was not only determined to get fit but a devoted loving mother. Its hard work being a Mom and 4 kids is more than a full time job but she still made every effort to find time “for her”. It was obviously important to her as it is for all off us to maintain our individual fitness and wellbeing. You MUST find the time and it’s not easy but our health is our greatest investment. She was ready to take on whatever I had planned. You could see the tenacity in her eyes. It fires me up to see that!!!Nothing is more intoxicating! Week after week Alison and I would push harder, keeping a careful eye on bodyweight/body fat. We established a weight loss goal long term and short term as I do with all my clients. It’s CRUCIAL to set goals as we need to strive for a “destination” on our roadmap of fitness. Our journey was one of hard work and triumph! Week by week the scale went down and her body transformed. Some of the other Moms I train complimented her obvious results and she pushed harder. She is a very competitive soldier! Coincidentally the other Moms were inspired by her and THEY did same. Everyone was kicking ass and looking amazing! I love my job!!!! After dropping some impressive body fat and scale weight, Alison asked about the possibility of training her Hubby and I was honored to get him enlisted. We get everything in place and planned on once a week as Corey travels frequently during the week. I have several clients that do this. Their jobs have them on the go a lot and once a week is only possible but we kick it extra hard and I encourage them to train on their off days on the road. Consistency is key! After the first workout, Corey crawled outta her and has shown up ever time with enthusiasm and passion. He delivers his utmost and always tries to out-do himself. We have really achieved amazing things. I’m so proud of Corey and Alison. It's been a year now since Alison walked through that front door and she’s literally a changed woman. Twenty pounds less and super fit! Corey has put on some incredible muscle and his health is equally as impressive. I am extremely blessed to of witnessed their journey thus far! Amazing people! They make every effort to find the time despite the responsibilities with parenthood and career. It’s absolutely and truly magnificent to witness people understand the importance of keeping fit mentally and physically.
WE ALL CAN FIND THE TIME……It’s there if you want it! You Get what you Give!
ROCK ON Corey and Alison!!

My days here are consistent, in regards to long and hard hours but also never the same, as each and every client brings a unique personality and energy. It’s literally like shifting gears from session to session as everyone has something amazing to deliver. My place here is a blessing to me and I come in every day expecting the un-expected! It’s awesome! One day, and without warning a woman walked in with a curious and friendly smile, inquiring about training. I can always tell from first 5 minutes of meeting potential client if they are serious and this woman had some seriousness in her eyes! She said to me... ”I think I need a trainer to kick my butt"! As you can imagine (especially if you know me) I was extremely fired up! We immediately set up our battle plan and scheduled first beating that week. I was excited and she seemed very enthusiastic! The big day finally came and I was prepared as usual. I always design the workout plans according to the individuals goals but until first beat down I don’t know of their particular tolerances with endurance, strength, etc.I already knew there were no medical limitations and she was more than willing to take a beating like a warrior does. This young lady was in her 60’s but I never take age as a limitation…IN FACT...I train them harder it was going to be interesting! That first workout we shared was nothing less than impressive! She pushed as hard as anyone I've ever trained and kept going. I was seriously amazed! Anyone who uses their age as an excuse should be ashamed of themselves but this young lady in her 60’s pushed harder than anyone I’ve trained in there 20’s…..hardcore and downright incredible! Age is JUST a word!
Well, after almost 4 years now and after dropping a good 25 pounds, Dot is a lean, meaner Warrior. I have pushed this woman to the brink of breakdown but she can be broken. She loves it and I’m bragging about her constantly. She volunteers every year to go overseas to help people in need and
saves lives daily in her occupation. She is one impressive client and even more of an incredible friend! I am extremely lucky! Thank you Dot!!!I’m one of those people you save daily. You saved my life the day you walked in those front doors
here! YOU ROCK DDD!

Trainer Testimonial
Kevin Wade
*I wrote this a few years ago but needed to re-submit.Much Respect delivered!
Over the past 25 years, I have had the opportunity (the Honor)
of training some amazing people. When you finally find your “purpose”, the true
reason you’re on this Earth, you are presented with immeasurable fulfillment. I
started having clients write me Testimonials about 13 years ago (I wish now I
had started further back).I honestly wanted to have the words of the individuals
to reflect on our journeys together. I wanted to insure that they got my very
best AND it validated to me why I
exist.Well…..this time I feel it’s necessary to for ME to write
a Testimonial for someone. This person has been a mentor to me and is my
longest active client. He is considered a great friend and someone I greatly
respect. Here goes……..
Just over 13 years ago (and it feels like yesterday) one of my
clients asked that I meet with her Father for some training and I graciously
accepted. I had met Kevin in person previously and remembered how impressed I
was. It was blatantly obvious that he was one that takes everything serious and
his attention to every detail was clear. We soon begin our Journey, one that to this day STILL presses on
with power. Workout after workout we trained, mixing up countless combinations
of the most intense sessions (beat downs). Kevin never once complained or had a
single negative thing to say. He brought all he had. At the time Kevin was in
his 40’s (my age now) and he trained HARDER than my clients in their 20’s.I was
so impressed. But as incredible as that would be, it was Kevin’s never ending
words of positive energy that took me. During our workouts he would talk about
(barely able to breath..lol) the power of Positive power and his mentor Anthony
Robbins. I would get so amped up by the end of each session from his passion
that I felt dizzy. It was intoxicating! Kevin would radiate positive power. I vividly remember him
walking in one day with a SUITCASE full of Anthony Robbins cassettes. He had
listened to them countless times and encouraged me to do the same. That period
of time Kevin got himself in the best shape of his life. To this day I am still
frazzled from the experience. Kevin's business was rapidly growing to the point where we had
to take some time off. He originally started his lawn care company with just
him, a truck and some equipment. NOW (with all his positive power) he had
evolved into a rapidly growing empire. Five years ago (a decade later) Kevin contacted me though my website and
asked to resume our Journey. I had changed work locations and had gone full
force with personal training at a large Health club. General management
obligations in my previous club had restricted me from training as I liked and I
decided to go full time with PT. It was a scary move for me having to start from
scratch but remembering all that Kevin preached to me I felt confident taking
the chance. A life without risk is a Life not living”. Kevin said he was
searching for me for years and had made a personal plan for himself to get back
into the best shape of his life. Over ten years of working like a machine and
neglecting his health Kevin had become unhappy with himself physically. It was
time to take action. We began an amazing journey of the hardest workouts of his
life. Every ounce of my being went into getting Kevin back to fighting shape.
Every creative thing in my sick, complex brain went into designing workouts to
push Kevin to his limits. We were a team. We were
determined. The health club I was employed with decided to change the
training program to one that I was very much against and ethically (to the
respect of my clients)I has to leave. My fiancé asked me to work for her at a
nearby Training studio. I once again had to start from scratch. Very scary
considering the current economic crisis, but went for it anyway. I had a lot of
hard work ahead of me but hard work is all I know. I was once again
determined.ONE YEAR AGO TODAY (December 14, 2010)on my very first day of my
new job Kevin walked in(ON HIS BIRTHDAY)and signed up as my first client. For
one of the hardest years of my life, Kevin and I have been on the proverbial
“battlefield” and fighting the fight. Recently after having an injury that would
of disabled most, he pushed through it and has rebuilt the machine that he is.
Nothing will stop this man. Without going on any further, this Testimony is
about one incredible man. The future and possibilities are endless with the
attitude you’ll find in Kevin Wade.
Nothing is impossible and everything is yours if you want it.
Happy Birthday
Kevin.

Trainer Testimonial:
Dave and Andrea DosSantos
The incredible job I have rewards me with some amazing people. A
bonus to that is the additional opportunity of training a spouse or family
member of theirs. It’s quite an honor to be given the trust. What I have been
doing lately is writing my own Testimonial of the client(s).It’s my way of
express my gratitude even further. This time around I’d like to given my
Testimony of two phenomenal people:
About 20 years back, I was asked by a young ambitious kid to help him
with his diet. We both were members of the same health club and I also had been
training a few clients in that facility. I had been doing a lot of
individualized meal plans in addition to personal training back then. Dave was
entertaining the idea of doing a bodybuilding show. That of course was exciting
to me and I could tell this young man was serious about accomplishing his goal.
I was preparing for a completion myself. We met up after I finished designing
his plan and went over our battle attack. I vividly remember Dave driving away
that day from our meeting feeling as though this kid is going places. The next
time I saw Dave was at my own completion, a couple weeks later. After the show
we all ended up at a nearby restaurant and it was time to FINALLY eat. I really
trained hard for that show and pushed myself to extremes with the diet prep,I
was depleted!!Dave laughed on at the food choices I had (I continued to eat
clean and had just Chicken and Steak). It was great having Dave and friends there
that day, you never forget those moments. Off and on through
the many years, Dave and I crossed paths. Dave, being the ambitious man he was
had now become a gym owner (Told you he was a go-getter).I had been promoted to
general management of my gym and I continued to do personal training and contest
prep. Dave and I lost touch as we both were immersed in our work. No rest for
the OCD at heart:)
Fast forward 15 years later (so much has happened in that time frame). One
day, while waiting for a client to finish her warm up on treadmill, in walks
Dave to my new place of employment. He heard I was working there and once came
looking for my help. At this point in his life Dave owned and managed 11
GYMS NOW!!Holy Guacamole!!Dave and I decided on a couple days a week of some
serious Personal training and Nutritional support now. With his relentless work
demands it become challenging for him to be consistent with his exercise and
nutrition and he needed me to kick his ass. He came to the right place. It all I
do….It’s all I want to do…..I’ll die doing it!!!
Within a month Dave already started seeing great results with
his weight loss, strength and cardiovascular endurance. His work ethic directly
reflected his exercise dedication. The ultimate client! A month went by and Dave
now asked me to train his Wife. He informed (warned)me that she had never really
trained with weights before but was….” probably THE toughest woman he’s ever
known”. Well,,,,HE WAS RIGHT!....WOW!....This girl was a
machine!
Andrea drives up for her first session in a humungous truck. I
laughed when she jumped out of the vehicle, as she was a petite girl with a
welcoming smile. We automatically connected as though she had been training with
me for years. I always know within the first few minutes of meeting someone how
our training chemistry will be. This girl was what we Marines
call a “Devil Dawg”. Tiny but tough!!Yikes!!
Every workout Andrea and Dave come in and smash those workouts
hard and heavy. They have a couple of great kids and their oldest is an up and
coming super athlete. I could not be happier with them, although I know I will
as they both push to be better! This week is Dave’s birthday and my gift to him
is a promise. I promise the best of my ability and insure he and his wife look
and feel better and better.
THANK YOU Dave!!!
You and your Wife’s trust in me have changed my life and together we will take on the World!!!Bring on the Pain!

Trainer Testimonial
Lynn Saladini
The amazing profession I have been blessed with rewards me with
the incredible opportunity of helping people. Not just “normal” or “regular”
people but driven and extremely motivated people. To be honest, I consider
myself and these unique individuals the “normal”(and certainly not regular)and
the rest of the World in need of some
Prozac.
Never the less, I started recently writing Testimonials about
THEM as they have honored me with their beautiful words all these years. I feel
it absolutely necessary and I only
hope my words are justified enough. I could not express enough how truly
grateful I am for their trust and devotion. This time around, I wish to write
about….
It started like most days for me. I had gone into work early to prep for
my morning and afternoon clients. The manager came over to say hello and inform
me that a former member wished to return, as she had a few personal training
sessions remaining. She had left for reasons related to work and she wanted to
get back into training and the manager asked if I could accommodate. I gladly
excepted (I love new recruits….evil
grin). As I always do, I investigated the brave soldiers prior history, in
relation to training, results, etc. As it turns out her previous trainer
(putting it respectfully) was not challenging her. If you knew this young lady,
you’d soon find out that “challenge” is her middle name. This put a smile on my
face(yes…a sadistic one)and I began preparation for her later that afternoon. I
LOVE designing workout programs and I definitely love challenging all my
Soldiers. Its my purpose!
The afternoon flew by
as I beat down each client with passion and the new and brave soul’s appointment
quickly approached. I gathered up her workout and headed to to the front
entrance to await her arrival. I always respectfully wait for each client as a
professional courtesy and to also make them KNOW they are getting all of my
best. Some say I’m being “intimidating” but if that’s the case then so be
it…..its respectful intimidation :) Their I stood, as a Marine does as
Lynn walked in.
She took one look at me, behind me and around the room, as though I was not
there. She had both a nervous and confused look on her young face. Through the
confusion she asked if her trainer was ready for her. I then said….”that’s
me”(with a eager and evil grin:).Lynn actually anticipated running, she later
jokes about. My appearance was a little surprising to her(most), as her former
trainer used to eat Pop Tarts between sessions. Not this Marine!!
For many months, Lynn and I smashed through some fun and extremely
challenging workouts. Lynn delivered some serious dedication and
proved to be a very interesting person as well. I built great admiration and
respect for her work ethic, in the gym and out. We carried on our mission with
utmost seriousness for years. Unfortunately, Lynn’s professional situation had once again
become a challenge, as she was committed to a lot of travel. She had to take a
small break from our training. I continued to keep in contact and consult as
needed. Once you have me…..I’m stuck on you like glue!
Through a well thought out and professional decision, I moved my
employment from the large health club setting to a more “personal and
individualized” atmosphere. The “studio” atmosphere was exactly what I always
wanted. Just me and the client(victim:)one on one with no “not so serious” club
members in my way. I loved it!
In the process of my move, I made every effort to contact
current and prior clients to come join me at the new Pain Palace. Lynn was
contacted my first day and she immediately responded with enthusiasm.
Lynn was coming
back with a vengeance. I could not be happier! The
majority of my amazing soldiers followed and Lynn was in the mix. There
would soon be some serious beat downs ahead! My creative mind was in overload.
Time to get a battle plan in place. The new place was about to
Rock!!!!
Fast forward several months, Lynn displayed not only incredible
determination but very impressive results. Weight was dropping and this girl was
getting powerful! She dedicated herself to three beat downs a week and it was
obvious how passionate she was. Nothing was about to interfere in her quest!
Lynn pushed
through whatever was in her way. Without getting further into detail, Lynn’s perseverance
through many obstacles NEVER got in her path. To make things even more
impressive, she even took on other physical activities on her Off-Gerry
beat down days and Lynn has earned respect in her martial arts classes. I
could go on and on about this impressive Soldier but I’ll say this…..Lynn
Saladini is one force NOT to be reckoned with and one to very much be
respected.
Thank you Lynn for all you’ve brought to the battlefield.
You’d be a great Marine!

Melissa Hartofelis
At some point in our lives, we have a “revelation” or we come to
find our “direction”, professionally speaking. In previous articles I have
mentioned I found mine early in life. In my many years of experimentation with
weight training, fitness and competitive bodybuilding, I found my place. We often times take a road less traveled to follow our heart and ignore the
“monetary” aspect of things. To find a “job” is easy but to have a “purpose” is fulfillment far beyond money could deliver.Without going on and on sounding Philosophical my Testimony here today is to give praise and props to another one of my incredible clients. I am trying to do this for every single client, as each has their own story.
*Today my props go out to…..Melissa Hartofelis.
My story begins on a typical day, standing at front door waiting for next victim (client) with anxious anticipation. While standing there with my
over-serious self and vehicle pulls up and out walks a tall and very fit young lady on a mission. She walks through front door and introduces herself with an
energy. I swear I felt an electrical shock with the hand shake. I listen on as she very professionally explains her need for help and what she was looking for
pertaining to her goals. I remember saying to myself “holy crap…this girl means business”. I listen on with much enthusiasm and excitement knowing this girl will most definitely kick some ass and take no BS! We exchange contact info and she assured me she would be in touch. Later that evening a mutual friend contacted me telling me she had a friend interested in my services and as it turns out it was the young lady I had already spoken to earlier. I happily tell my friend I’m one step ahead of her. It was fate!
The day arrives for Melissa’s first session (beat down) and she walks in ready to take on the battle like a soldier. I had a crazy workout planned out and ready to deliver my best. Set after set, she pressed on hard. I was very impressed with her determination. No complaining, no rest needed. She
took it hard and she saw it through till the sweaty end.Ninety percent of the time the client pukes half way through. Not this girl. It was the beginning of a journey of excellence. The many weeks to follow were equally awesome as Melissa got leaner and stronger. We set goals and we were on a mission. As with most clients, there is occasionally some pre-scheduled things that they inform me about and Melissa had some minor things that had to be taken care of that would unfortunately have her out of gym completely for several weeks.Melissa was concerned about maintaining all her hard work and I assured her we would get through it and she would not lose her hard earned achievements. The weeks flew by and we corresponded through it
successfully. Back on the battlefield!!Its been months now since we began and we have attained a leaner, more fit and impressive Melissa! More impressive is that this Superwoman is a Mother of two young kids who I know look up to her. To be a full time Mother requires a lot of hard work (more than most realize) and she still manages to be a very organized and determined woman with her fitness. She takes it very seriously! Whenever Melissa picks her daughter up at day care next door, the little one comes in to say Hi and show me her burpie demo(she calls them “Flashbacks”)and asks her Supermom when she can start working out! A perfect example of how the positive influence of a hard working parent transcends to the kids. Hard work pays off and Melissa is proof positive! My respect goes out to
her! Well done M!

Nick Stratton
A large majority of my clientele is adult based, typically averaging in the 40-80
years young range. These incredible individuals are not competitive athletes,
although I do have a great group of those people as well. There was a time in my
personal training career when the majority of work was preparing people for competitions and athletic events. That realm is work is a whole different animal. Preparing people for bodybuilding /fitness shows requires some serious patience as well as an unbelievable level of understanding of the human metabolism and physiology. I still am involved in doing so but only on a smaller scale basis. Quality over quantity is my motto. I live by those words! Another great area of my clientele is the younger teens and college students. These hard charging individuals really bring a great energy and show great interest in training. They are like a “sponge” soaking in knowledge and oozing enthusiasm!!Every year around summer, I get approached by some parents to train there kid for a couple months. It’s so fun and fulfilling, not to mention a great Honor to be asked by the parent. I do not have kids myself and I am really grateful for the trust given to me. This summer, one of our clients asked me to train her son. He was home from College and she thought my training style would be something her son would like. This young man had recently dropped over 80 pounds himself with much trial and error and he needed some solid guidance to get him on a consistent path. I graciously accepted the opportunity and welcomed the challenge. If he was anything like his Mom (a very driven woman) it would be fun!!I could not wait!!During a training session with one of my female Soldiers, Nick came by to sign some paperwork and get things locked in place. We had communicated through email/text prior to him coming in and instituted our set days of sessions. I was kicking the crap out of the client and Nick watched with a suspicious eye. I could tell he was intrigued. No fear in this kid. This was going to be fun. Nick came in for his first session with a respectful and quiet demeanor. It takes me only minutes to tell if someone will absorb the intensity and Nick did just that. He may be quiet but he was certainly ready to go to battle. After a few great workouts, Nick and I stepped things up and really started throwing down some intensity with our sessions. After a recent endurance beatdown, Nicks Mom told me that Nick actually had to stop on the highway on his way home from our session because he thought he may pass out!!...lol!! !Awesome!!!!Things were going great! Weeks would pass and Nick dropped more and more body fat and inches. He was initially concerned with particular areas as we all are but those areas were looking good. Nick was sticking to it and I was very happy with his determination.
Well the end of the summer approached and Nick was finishing up our training. He dropped over 15 pounds of weight and looked great. The biggest
thing I noticed was his confidence. He was obviously very proud of his hard work and he should be. I am extremely grateful for my time training Nick. I am
looking forward to his return this winter. Thank you Nick! You are one tough man!!Good luck this semester at school.
If you do as good as you did with the Iron, you’ll Rock those books!!
